Earlier this month I had a string of coincidences including this post about a new Brighid Devotional leading me to read this and the freely available Clann Bhride Book of Hours. Brigantia was clearly calling me for it is this name that I use for the being also known as Brighid, Bhride, Bridey and other names.
From this reading I was inspired to adapt one of the prayers for my own use with Brigantia. I have also been called recently to deepen my relationship with Maponos and the prayers to Brigantia have inspired a similar set of prayers to Maponos. For me these beings come across as siblings so perhaps it’s not so surprising that deepening my relationship with one leads to a connection with the other.
